Welcome to Palmer Blythe Designs

Hello, I’m Elle – the artist, designer, and occasional paint-water sipper behind Palmer Blythe Designs. 

I’m a UK-based watercolour artist creating joyful, hand-painted art inspired by florals, botanicals, and everyday whimsy. My mission? To bring a bit of light, laughter, and personality into your home with original watercolour paintings and fine art prints that say, “Hey, life’s lovely, isn’t it?” – even on the days when your hair’s doing that thing it does.

Each piece is painted in my cosy home studio here in the UK, usually with my fluffy assistant Cooper curled up nearby, keeping an eye out for stray biscuits. My collection ranges from delicate floral watercolour prints to calming botanical wall art and playful watercolour illustrations – all designed to uplift, calm, and connect.

I believe art should be meaningful, accessible, and a true reflection of your spirit. Whether you’re looking for hand-painted floral prints to brighten your kitchen, botanical art prints for your hallway, or cheerful illustrations to keep you company at your desk, my work is here to add a splash of joy and colour to your space.

Every order is packed with as much love and care as goes into the painting itself – it genuinely makes my day to see my art finding a place in your world.

Although I’ve been doodling since I could hold a crayon (mainly on walls, sorry Mum), I only began sharing my art publicly in recent years, thanks to a good nudge from my daughter, sister, and mum. In 2023, after redundancy gave me a rather forceful push, I finally embraced art full time – and haven’t looked back since.

Painting is my calm, my spark, and my absolute joy, and I feel beyond lucky to turn that passion into something I can share with you.
